Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products from trucks and warehouse shelves
  • Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers
  • Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise
  • Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy
  • Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager
  • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns
  • Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device
  • Assist with physical inventory and inventory control
  • Provide excellent customer service to external customers
  • Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties
  • Wear appropriate PPE
Requirements
  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck
  • Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines
  • Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics
  • Must have experience using a donkey lift truck
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states)
  • 6 months of Warehouse experience including forklift operation
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
