We are seeking a skilled Cashier/Food Service Worker to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, as well as assist with catering orders.
  • Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Provide excellent customer service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
  • Inventory and restock supplies and food products, ensuring that the refrigerator is stocked and product is rotated using the first-in, first-out rule.
  • Set up serving lines, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits.
  • Serve hot and cold items to customers and set up items for purchase on a daily basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
