We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Ascension. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to inform patient care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin or eligibility for licensure.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
