Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key duties include:
- Delivering direct patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Guiding and educating patients and their families about health management.
- Supervising the activities of nursing staff while upholding professional standards.
- Communicating effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions and treatment responses.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid state RN License.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in emergency services.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) designation.
Compensation
The estimated compensation for this position ranges from $46.50 to $72.00 per hour, depending on various factors such as experience, education, and qualifications.
