Job Title: Registered Nurse - Acute Float Position

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. As a Registered Nurse - Acute Float, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform the Nursing Process using evidence-based practice, ensuring individualized care.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that reflects cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others for care planning and updates.
- Practice using current clinical standards.

Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Participate in performance improvement and support shared governance.

Professional Development and Initiative:
- Complete professional competency assessments and required education.
- Serve as a preceptor/mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce.

Evidence-Based Practice and Research:
- Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research.
- Uphold organizational policies and accreditation standards.
- Participate in data collection and consult with experts for practice improvement.

Resources and Support:
- Proactively plan patient care across the care continuum.
- Develop protocols and procedures for best practice outcomes.
- Support efficient use of resources.

Other Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all health system policies and standards of work.
