Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering information from patients and entering it into relevant databases, seeking resources to resolve issues regarding procedure types, dates, or locations.
  • Scheduling procedures to optimize patient time and resource utilization, coordinating and communicating schedules as needed.
  • Assisting with coordination of activities related to insurance pre-certification/authorization.
  • Providing counseling to patients, participants, or their representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
  • Performing clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
