Position Overview

Nautilus Solar Energy LLC is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst who will play a crucial role in identifying, negotiating, and finalizing third-party capital financing solutions to bolster the growth of our solar energy initiatives. This role is ideal for a meticulous professional with a solid financial acumen. The position offers remote work flexibility with occasional travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the acquisition of third-party capital through various financial instruments, including construction loans, term loans, tax equity financing, and other specialized financial products.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with investors through effective presentations and diligence inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Legal and Structuring teams to ensure the precision and professionalism of project data rooms and external materials.
  • Assist development, construction, and asset management teams with comprehensive financial and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly presentations for the board and investors.
  • Verify that accurate financing assumptions are integrated into project financial models.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in clean technology, energy, or related fields; prior experience in solar energy is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Investment Banking is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Capability to engage with various organizational levels and external stakeholders, including banks, legal advisors, clients, and contractors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
