Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide therapeutic services to individuals affected by domestic violence and their families, with a focus on children. Services will be delivered through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, guided by a comprehensive psychosocial assessment. Evening availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessment functions for PALS, including detailed analysis of assessments at scheduled intervals during treatment
  • Maintain ongoing communication with PALS clients and their guardians
  • Prepare and keep accurate and current records
  • Ensure timely and precise completion of documentation and reports
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Provide advocacy and referral services for clients
  • Engage in weekly case management meetings
  • Participate in Clinical Peer Supervision as scheduled
  • Involve in client activities
  • Contribute to Providence House events
  • Supervise graduate student interns as necessary

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy or Board Certification in the respective creative arts modality is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Experience working with children and knowledge of domestic violence issues is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license is required.

Program Requirements: Providence House operates as a 24-hour residential program, necessitating staff availability at all times. It is important to understand that the regular shift at the time of hiring may change during employment, and in times of staffing emergencies or special events, you may be required to cover shifts outside of your regular schedule, including holidays.

Employment Status: Exempt

Weekly Work Hours: 35 hours

Proposed Salary: $47,000 annually

Schedule: Monday - Thursday evenings required
