Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates and team leaders, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, including sortation, inventory management, and shipping and receiving.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management, including inventory turnover, shipping accuracy, and employee productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business processes and achieve company goals.
  • Develop and implement transportation operations best practices that are client-centered and efficient.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in warehousing, operations, and logistics.
  • 1+ years of managerial experience in a transportation operations or warehouse setting.
  • Relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and drive results.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and transportation management systems.
