We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker PT w/Benefits to join our team at the Navy Exchange. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
- Inspect and ensure the proper working condition of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Assist in the installation and repair of broken pipes, leaky faucets, and clogged drains.
- Perform electrical repairs to appliances, light fixtures, and switches.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including fans, air conditioners, and other appliances.
- Maintain compliance with local safety regulations and inform supervisors of hazardous conditions.
- Take periodic inventory of maintenance stock and equipment.
- One year of experience in general maintenance practices, including the upkeep of buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
