Interventional Radiology Technologist Role in Falls Church

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team for a travel assignment in Falls Church, Virginia.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider in the area of interventional radiology. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures.
Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assisting physicians during procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Demonstrating knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 1 year of experience as an IR Tech. You should also possess:
- ARRT (R) National Certification
- State-specific licensing when required
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
You should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential.
What We OfferWe provide a competitive salary package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. The pay is subject to confirmation and includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
