Mortgage Loan Funder Job Description

At CBC Federal Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Funder to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Funder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing and funding of mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare loan documents for funding, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify loan information, including loan amount, fees, and interest rates.
  • Communicate with loan officers, processors, and escrow agents to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of credit union policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve funding discrepancies and ensure accurate loan accounting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; mortgage lending experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage loan funding and document drawing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
Working Conditions:

This position is located in a well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned indoor office setting with moderate noise levels. The workweek is 40 hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
