About the Role

In this role, you will process routine financial transactions, balance cash drawers, and assist customers with their financial needs. You will also be responsible for opening and processing deposit and loan accounts, cross-selling other bank services, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process a variety of routine financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
  • Balance cash drawers and count currency and coin accurately.
  • Assist customers in determining the types of accounts that will meet their financial needs.
  • Open and process all types of deposit and loan accounts, including complex retail products.
  • Cross-sell other bank services and refer customers to other departments as appropriate.
  • Answer questions and resolve complex technical problems on customer accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • Cash handling experience and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions, as well as organize and prioritize work.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications and ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrated sales skills and a valid driver's license.
  • Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent.

This role is fully onsite and requires a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
