The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the maintenance of a safe and organized unit environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries.
- Participate in patient rounds and teams, and complete patient care assignments.
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to the development of a crisis, and utilize non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate crisis situations.
- Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse, and follow Standards of Care and protocols for assigned patients.
