Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations at our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day supervision, motivation, coaching, and training of our security officers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee security operations at individual facilities
  • Supervise and motivate security officers to ensure effective performance
  • Provide coaching and training to security officers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous security experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet HSS Inc.'s driving guidelines (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience training and overseeing staff

Armed (Handgun) Qualifications

  • At least [insert age] years of age
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a weapon
  • Ability to pass the initial and semi-annual HSS Inc.'s approved firearms training course to demonstrate proficiency in use of firearm
  • Ability to participate and meet the requirements of additional firearms training at the discretion of the firearms instructor
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of HSS Inc.'s Firearms policies

TASER Qualifications

  • Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a TASER position and annually thereafter
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASER
  • Ability to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructor and/or HSS Inc.
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of HSS Inc.'s Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), HSS Inc.'s Taser Policy
