Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at the Marlin Bar. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our dishroom and kitchen equipment, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Operate the dish machine efficiently and effectively, following proper procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, meeting agency standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the business, such as cleaning, sweeping, and mopping.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of high-volume culinary/hospitality experience.
  • Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law.
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant skills, including food/equipment/kitchenware/tableware storage and rotation, proper cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently, bend/stoop/kneel frequently, and stand for duration of shift.
