Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Duke Health Integrated Practice. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect care to patients in our Aesthetics Services clinic located in Durham, NC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment and instruments.
  • Stock and maintain supplies in the operating room.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or completion of the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification exam.
  • Level I- Entry level position for new graduates or Surgical Technologists with 0 to 18 months experience.
  • Level II- Requires 6 to 12 months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology or relevant military experience.
Work Schedule

This position requires 8 to 10 hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 6:30am. Less than 20 hours per week.
