Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery care.
Requirements:
  • VA License
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • AWHONN Advanced preferred
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Meditech experience preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  • Community Hospital Experience preferred
Preferred Skills:
  • FHM
  • Triage
  • Procedures associated with obstetrics such as versions, IOL, cervical ripening, IUFD care and bereavement
  • OR Cesaran Sections
