We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, adhering to department protocols and procedures.
- Locate and record internal body elements, identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
- Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
- Monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
- Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
- Review tests with peers and physicians.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings as requested.
- Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
- Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
- Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data into patient information systems, and update file systems for tests performed.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust equipment or write referrals for repair.
- Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
- Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures.
- Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
- Administer contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
- Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states in which services are performed.
- Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
- Call for service and notify pertinent team members.
- Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required.
- Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
- VIA experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
- Must be flexible, reliable, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
