We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our General Oncology unit at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver family-centered care guided by CHOP's Nursing Professional Practice Model.
- Develop, evaluate, and revise patients' plans of care throughout their hospitalization.
- Gather and analyze data to inform the care team and delegate tasks.
- Promote excellent patient outcomes by adhering to evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and safety procedures.
- Identify and address safety concerns or ethical dilemmas with unit leadership.
- Develop effective partnerships with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Adept at adopting healthcare technology and clinical practice changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain CEUs for nursing licensure and comply with annual nursing competencies and mandatory education.
- Required: Technical diploma- Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree- Nursing
- At least one (1) year RN experience
- Prior experience in pediatrics or area of specialty
This 24-bed medical unit specializes in the care of Oncology patients, providing comprehensive care to children of all ages, from infancy to early adulthood. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, culturally effective care, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that allows all employees to be their authentic selves.
