Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced technical leader to join our Apple Data group as a Senior Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects that improve the user experience throughout their data and machine learning workflow.

About the Role

As a Senior Manager in the Apple Data group, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical and business initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing forward-thinking vision and strategic initiatives, delivering data and machine learning infrastructure in production environments, and leading and growing successful infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking vision and strategic initiatives
  • Deliver data and machine learning infrastructure in production environments
  • Lead and grow successful infrastructure teams
  • Manage expectations and relationships with multiple stakeholders and project teams across various functional areas
  • Partner with recruiting to grow technical teams
  • Measure and improve the efficiency and reliability of data and machine learning infrastructure systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a large team of software engineers, tech leads, and managers
  • Foster a healthy and collaborative culture, and a high output group
  • Drive technical and cross-functional projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Set vision for the long term in alignment with business priorities and guide short-term planning towards that
