BayCare Health Systems is actively looking for a skilled Psychiatric Care Technician to become a vital part of our dedicated and empathetic workforce.
Key Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Care Technician:
1. Deliver direct care to psychiatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
2. Conduct continuous monitoring and observation of patients to ensure their safety and overall well-being.
3. Foster effective communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
4. Assist with physical care tasks as directed by a Registered Nurse.
5. Enhance unit coordination by executing orders, making necessary phone calls, and relaying information to the charge nurse.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

- Minimum of 6 months in a healthcare setting preferred.
