Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN in the Intensive Care Unit. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IV lines and administering medications.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
