Position Overview:

As an Infection Control Registered Nurse (RN) at Quorum Health, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the health of our patients and staff by monitoring and managing infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveillance of the facility to identify potential infection outbreaks.
  • Develop and enforce infection control strategies in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Initiate isolation procedures and communicate with relevant health authorities regarding reportable conditions.
  • Utilize your expertise to set and achieve departmental objectives.
  • Perform various nursing tasks while operating under general supervision.
  • Exhibit creativity and independent judgment in your role.
  • Report directly to the department manager or unit head.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in nursing with active RN certification.
  • Valid nursing license in the state of Texas.
  • 1-3 years of nursing experience is essential.
  • Prior experience in infection control is preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard nursing practices and procedures is required.
