PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To deliver essential support to the production department by ensuring workplace safety, reducing equipment downtime, and executing critical tasks to maintain seamless operations.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
HOURLY RATE: $34.59 (paid weekly)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnose and repair Motors, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and both AC and DC electrical circuits, including testing fuses, wiring, and motors.
- Repair and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, and other rotating machinery.
- Fabricate and weld safety guards, steps, frameworks, and piping using Stainless and Carbon Steel.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and material handling equipment.
- Install and modify equipment as necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
The maintenance team operates continuously, ensuring no night shift staff is required, which necessitates a rotating on-call schedule among employees. Technicians must be ready to address maintenance challenges as they arise.
During scheduled plant shutdowns, maintenance staff are expected to work diligently, with no leave permitted. Additionally, at least one technician must be available during designated holidays.
All maintenance activities must be performed safely, in accordance with the facility's established Safety Standards.
New hires in the maintenance division will undergo a training period before progressing to the role of Industrial Maintenance Technician. Meeting the established criteria during this period is crucial for ongoing employment.
