About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and club facilities. This includes performing general maintenance and cleaning duties, gathering and returning carts and flatbeds, and ensuring that all areas of the club are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties, including wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet extracting.
  • Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
  • Ensure that all carts are well-stocked and in working order.
  • Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and ensure that supply areas are clean and organized.
  • Perform minor and routine building repairs and notify management when major repairs are required.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
  • Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
  • Prior retail or wholesale experience preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Most of the time is spent moving about on hard surfaces. May frequently require bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools.
  • Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
