Responsibilities
  • Perform all types of specimen dissections
  • Assist pathologists with post-mortem examinations, organ preparation, dissection, and evisceration
  • Work with frozen section tissue and intraoperative consultation requests
  • Utilize voicebrook dictation system and Dragon software
  • Meet the requirements for Pathologists Assistant licensure
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Pathologists Assistant
  • Frozen section experience
  • Ability to work weekends as needed
  • Availability for possible call after 4pm as needed
