We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Baptist Health. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with stroke, sepsis, shock states, and respiratory failure.
- Function as an on-shift team member, providing direct patient care and meeting the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient condition to the healthcare team, making recommendations for changes in patient care as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit-based policies and procedures.
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS Certification (obtained within 12 months of hire).
- NIHSS Stroke Certification (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
- Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position.
