Job Overview

Surge Staffing is seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating interviews and appointments, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling & Appointments: Coordinate and schedule interviews and appointments for candidates and HR team members, ensuring timely communication and efficient scheduling.
  • Phone Support: Make outbound calls to candidates for interviews, follow-up communications, and to provide information about job opportunities.
  • Interview Assistance: Assist with the scheduling of interviews and conduct initial phone screenings, ensuring candidates meet basic qualifications.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general HR administrative support, including data entry, filing, and maintaining employee records.
  • Receptionist Duties: Serve as the first point of contact for employees and applicants, providing excellent customer service and directing inquiries as needed.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Assist with maintaining accurate records of interviews, candidate evaluations, and hiring documents.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with the HR team to ensure all necessary paperwork and compliance documents are prepared and processed for new hires.
  • Other HR Support: Assist with other HR-related tasks and special projects as needed, providing support to the HR department.

What We Offer:

We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all qualified applicants. Our office is located in Xenia, OH, and we offer a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
