Position Details

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 3 PM to 11 PM

We are seeking a dedicated security professional to manage access control at a high-traffic gatehouse for a large gated community. Candidates must possess strong English communication skills and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment, as the gatehouse will experience a continuous flow of vehicles. Adherence to established post orders is essential.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Custom Protection Officer, candidates should meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Military Experience: Any service in a Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement or security, or a minimum of 8 years in any military branch.
  • Public Safety Academy Graduate: Completion of a certified public safety academy or relevant work experience in law enforcement, corrections, or firefighting.
  • Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice.
  • Associate's Degree with Military Service: An Associate's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice along with current or prior military service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security patrols of assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle.
  • Monitor for irregularities or conditions that may pose security risks.
  • Alert authorities in case of emergencies or unauthorized access.
  • Provide customer service by implementing safety and security protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
  • Perform regular and random patrols around the premises.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Must meet one or more of the following:
    • Military service in a law enforcement or security-related role.
    • Graduation from a certified public safety academy or relevant experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice.
    • 8 years of military service.
    • Associate's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with military service.
  • Applicants will undergo a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment.
  • Licensing requirements may apply based on state and local laws.
