CNC Machinist and Technician

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Technician to join our team at Express Employment Professionals in Danbury. With a strong background in advanced CNC experience, including setup and operation, you will be responsible for programming, editing, and operating multi-axis Swiss and/or mill-turn CNC Turning Centers using G-Code Programming.

• Program Edit, set up and operate a multi-axis Swiss and/or mill-turn CNC Turning Center using G-Code Programming.
• Follow and perform first article and in-process inspection.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance.
• Ability to manufacture parts and monitor in-process dimension standards to specifications.
• Ability to clearly document the necessary quality inspection features.
• Interest to be cross-trained on different machine types as required (mill, lathe, grinder, manual equipment, etc.).
• Support Lean Manufacturing Initiatives to enhance Continuous Improvement.
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

• Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to use Micrometer, calipers & measuring tools.
• Advanced level in blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Familiarity with stainless steel.
• Knowledge of other shop equipment such as manual mills, saws, sanders, drills, etc.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

$55,000 - $75,000 per year
