Cath Lab RN Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for an immediate travel nurse opening in Chillicothe, OH. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures to diagnose and treat heart conditions.
  • Participate in angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
  • Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
  • Monitor and maintain EKG equipment.
Requirements:
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • 3 years of experience in a cardiovascular surgical environment.

Candidates should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Good stress management skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds are essential.
