KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with various departments to address customer issues and become adept in proprietary operational systems.
- Engage with customers via phone and in person to process service requests, including installations, activations, and service modifications.
- Complete contract documentation, calculate service charges, collect deposits, and manage address changes.
- Exhibit proficiency in software applications, particularly in MS Word and Excel.
- Provide services to customers in a manner that fosters positive relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints courteously.
- Thrive in a dynamic, high-volume call environment with precise performance expectations.
- Encourage the sale of additional services as appropriate.
- Support other areas of the business as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The role is based in a call center environment that is clean, well-ventilated, and adequately lit. Customer Service Representatives typically have designated workstations equipped with telephones, headsets, and computers.
- Call center areas may be noisy, and the work can be repetitive and demanding, requiring excellent service delivery under time constraints.
- Extended periods of sitting, typing, or viewing a computer screen are common.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role within a high-volume setting.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and email is preferred, along with required typing and 10-key skills.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to analyze issues and provide solutions, including data gathering and report preparation.
