IT Support Specialist

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist for a contract role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for computer systems and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, testing, imaging, and cleaning of PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory of PCs and accessories, ensuring secure storage and organization.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software and peripheral issues, with the ability to set up and configure hardware.
- Manage asset installations, moves, additions, and changes, with a focus on large-scale events.
- Ensure timely follow-up on support tickets requiring additional work or communication.
- Provide in-person technical support to end users at various locations.
- Assist in documenting and improving current processes and support resolutions.
- Support the Site Leader in executing established processes and managing escalations.
- Handle multiple projects efficiently within an enterprise environment.
- Represent the organization professionally and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in desktop or deskside support.
- Proficiency in supporting Windows systems, including deployment and imaging.
- Strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with break-fix scenarios.
- A+ Certification.
