We are seeking a highly skilled EH&S Safety Representative/Officer to join our team at Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing the project-level safety management program, providing technical assistance to project and construction management, and ensuring compliance with project safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage the project-level safety management program, including conducting safety assessments and inspections.
  • Provide technical assistance to project and construction management, including providing guidance on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with project safety requirements, including contractual commitments, laws and regulations, and the project's ES&H plan.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs for project team members and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including conducting employee performance evaluations.
  • Provide regular safety reports and updates to management.
Requirements:
  • OSHA 510/500 Certification
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Knowledge of heavy mechanical work in construction (Piping, HVAC, Mechanical Work, Gas Work, etc.)
  • Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of ES&H subcontractors or consultants.
  • Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials and physical risks and the mechanisms to mitigate them.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CHST Certification
  • Associates or Bachelors (2-4 years of college) in Environmental and/or Occupational Safety
