We are seeking a dependable and skilled facility maintenance specialist to handle essential upkeep responsibilities. In this role, you will be tasked with a diverse range of activities, including repairs and cleaning, to ensure that our facilities remain both orderly and operational.

Being trustworthy and self-driven, along with a sharp attention to detail, is crucial for this position. The ideal candidate will possess substantial work experience and a solid foundation of technical knowledge. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are necessary attributes for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct minor repairs, such as fixing broken locks and addressing wall damage.
  • Install necessary appliances and equipment as required.
  • Examine control panels and electrical wiring to identify potential issues.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, including garden and yard upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing, and trash collection.
  • Perform essential cleaning tasks, such as dusting, mopping, and waste removal.
  • Execute routine maintenance activities, including replacing light bulbs.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals during renovations and facility expansions.
  • Report to the maintenance manager regarding resolved issues, those requiring attention, and ongoing tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Experience using tools, including both hand and power tools.
  • Welding experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for creative problem-solving.
