Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our reputable law firm. This role presents an exciting chance for a driven individual to spearhead the management of intricate commercial litigation cases. Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney, your duties will encompass:
1. Overseeing a varied portfolio of commercial litigation cases, including contract disputes, shareholder disagreements, intellectual property issues, and competition law matters.
2. Offering strategic counsel to clients regarding all facets of commercial litigation, encompassing risk management, dispute resolution, and court procedures.
3. Advocating for clients in court, during arbitration sessions, and in mediation processes.
4. Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
5. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to bolster case preparation and strategy formulation.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to devise and execute effective litigation strategies.
7. Cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are addressed and their interests safeguarded.
8. Contributing to the firm's business development initiatives, including engaging in client presentations and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
2. Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. At least 10 years of experience as a Commercial Litigator, with a proven history of successfully managing complex commercial litigation cases. A portable book of business is essential.
4. Outstanding legal research and writing capabilities.
5. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
7. A strategic mindset, capable of providing practical, business-oriented legal advice.
