Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Examiner - Liability to join our team in the Midwest Region. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for analyzing and processing complex Commercial General Liability and Auto Liability claims on behalf of our valued clients. Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims, while maintaining exceptional customer service and adherence to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to achieve timely and appropriate resolutions.
  • Negotiate settlements within designated authority and communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
  • Report claims to excess carriers and respond to requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
  • Litigation experience a plus, not required.
  • Active adjusters license highly preferred.
