Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Designer to join our team at Synectics. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional outdoor spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD and related software to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards.
  • Provide additional support to design teams and stakeholders.
  • Drafting documents and computations to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Participate in the design process, including understanding of industry-standard conceptual through construction administration design phases.
  • Translate abstract design sketches into functioning digital design documents.
  • Provide opinions on probable costs and project schedules.
  • Prepare construction-related services and modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients.
  • Complete site visits and perform site walks as required.
  • Communicate with project managers on workload status, schedule, and tasks to meet designated chargeability goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4+ years of practical experience in a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of technical skills, including AutoCAD, AdobeCS, Technical Writing, Revit, Lumion, and MS Office.
  • Ability to apply fundamental design concepts to practical situations.
