Job Overview

East Georgia Regional Medical Center seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting optimal healing outcomes.

About the Role

This RN PRN position involves evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. You will work closely with physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within your scope of practice as a registered nurse.

Patient Education and Empowerment

You will empower patients to take an active role in their care by establishing personalized goals and teaching them and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Your experience and judgment will guide you in planning and achieving goals, while performing a variety of tasks that require a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from a school of nursing
  • A current Georgia nursing license
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
