Job Summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Nurse to join its team. As a Program Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional medical care and support to youth in our programs.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality medical care to youth in our programs, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing education on disease prevention and treatment.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Practitioner, Medical Providers, and other departments to ensure comprehensive care and support for youth.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with youth, families, and community partners to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and Assistant Program Director to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.


Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or Health Sciences.
  • Current RN license in good standing and CPR certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time direct service delivery experience, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or medical record department.
  • Experience working with diverse populations of children and adolescents, including those with complex medical needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
