Matheny Medical and Educational Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for the 7pm-7am shift. As a Registered Nurse at Matheny, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients with medically complex developmental disabilities.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Supervise and train PCA staff to provide direct patient care
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse by the State of New Jersey Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- ACLS and/or PALS certification preferred
- IV certification preferred
