Miller Mechanical Specialties Inc. is an equal opportunity employer seeking a talented Instrumentation Specialist to join their team in Albert Lea, MN.

The successful candidate will provide daily support to customers across various industries, traveling throughout the territory to service instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair services for flow meters, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, chart recorders, controllers, and valves.
• Ensuring installations meet manufacturers' standards for operation through visual inspections and testing.
• Developing and implementing tests to detect proper or malfunctioning equipment operation.
• Replacing defective instrumentation and associated equipment according to manufacturers' procedures.
• Directing installers on proper equipment placement and advising customers on installation requirements.
• Conferring with technicians, manufacturers' representatives, and customers to diagnose malfunctions and provide technical solutions.
• Training customer representatives on equipment use, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Technical Field (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Minimum)
• Excellent communication skills and work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience multi-tasking and balancing priorities
• Computer and Microsoft Office software experience
• 2+ years of full-time work experience (helpful)

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, plus benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
