We are seeking a skilled Plumber Specialist to join our team at Deployed Resources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing new plumbing systems, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Prepare project layouts, work with blueprints, and follow instructions from managers to ensure successful project execution.
- Plumbing Installation and Repair: Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using various tools and equipment, and perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air, observe pressure gauges, and locate leaks to ensure the quality of our plumbing systems.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with our team to achieve project goals, and communicate clearly and concisely to ensure seamless project execution.
- Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience as a plumber or plumber helper, and OSHA 10 certification desired.
- Skills and Specifications: Experience in industrial and commercial plumbing, demonstrable ability to use hand tools, thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulation guidelines, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability, and ability to take direction and work well with a team.
This job operates in a workshop environment, and you will be required to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, based on contract needs. You will also be required to travel up to 10% of the time, with short notice travel required.
