Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on beverage service and pairing recommendations
  • Manage assigned section and assist with service pacing
  • Guide guests in beverage selections based on their preferences
  • Ensure beverages are served at optimal temperatures and in appropriate glassware
  • Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • Maintain table service standards, including water service and pre-bussing
  • Assist in transporting food from the kitchen to guests when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Prepare and stock service-related items
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required
  • Set up and maintain dining areas to established standards
  • Address service irregularities promptly
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining wares
  • Conduct bathroom checks as needed
  • Utilize POS systems for order entry and payment processing
  • Deliver knowledgeable and attentive service consistently
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
  • Adhere to grooming and dress code standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in fine dining

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to see, hear, speak, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Employees must be able to sit, stand, and move throughout the shift.
