South Bend, Indiana, United States UNIFI Autism Care Full time
Job Overview

At UNIFI Autism Care, we're dedicated to empowering children with autism through compassionate, collaborative care. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll play a vital role in our team's mission to nurture the complete child and prepare them for their future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement patient-specific programming as prescribed by the BCBA, ensuring a tailored approach to each child's unique needs.
  • Follow behavior intervention plans, including safety procedures, to create a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collect data and complete necessary paperwork and billing, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication with the team.
  • Administer patient medications when needed, prioritizing their health and well-being.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled meetings and training, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Work collaboratively with the patient's entire UNIFI team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality according to UNIFI and HIPAA guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ensure patient safety and contribute to a positive work environment, prioritizing the well-being of each child and their family.
What We're Looking For

We need dependable, compassionate individuals who are adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of patients. If you're a positive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are tech-savvy for training, email, data collection, and billing purposes, we'd love to hear from you.

Work Environment

You'll work in various settings, including our therapy clinic, patients' homes, schools, and community locations. Travel between therapy sessions is paid for by UNIFI, and mileage can be expensed. To minimize travel, you'll be assigned to a specific zip code. Note: Staff will not provide transportation to patients.

Requirements
  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active RBT certification (UNIFI will help you obtain certification if needed).
  • Satisfactory background check.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and active auto coverage.
  • CPR certification (paid for by UNIFI).
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, run, stoop, and sit on the floor.
Benefits
  • Competitive pay starting at $20/hour for RBTs with at least one year of experience and the potential to earn up to $24/hour depending on years of service. Our RBTs enjoy an average total compensation of $52,500 annually.
  • Performance-based quarterly bonus program, offering additional financial rewards for your hard work and dedication.
  • Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time RBTs.
  • Paid training and recertification opportunities.
  • Enjoy a generous time-off package with 24 total days annually: 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) and 9 paid holidays for work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match for your future.
  • Extensive ongoing professional development and support.
  • A Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings.

At UNIFI Autism Care, we deeply value the well-being of our team members and patients, creating a supportive and caring environment for everyone. We are an equal opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, ensuring fair treatment for all.
