Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Utilize advanced engineering principles to develop innovative solutions for complex structural challenges.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure the successful execution of engineering tasks, including calculations, design modifications, and technical documentation.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Lead the planning and distribution of work among team members, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Engage in marketing efforts, including proposal development, to support business growth.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 7 years of experience, or a PhD with 6 years of experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in the design of transportation structures, with a focus on bridges.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Michigan or the ability to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
