We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a CT Technologist Training Program, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, utilizing appropriate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient needs.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely and efficiently, ensuring modesty and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Document all pertinent clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within our electronic medical record system accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and radiologists to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness, and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies to prevent cross-contamination and ensure optimal patient care.
- 2-year/Associate degree from a hospital-based Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
