About the Opportunity
The Division of Hematology-Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the tenure track. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative research programs, teach and mentor students, and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent research program in hematology or medical oncology, with a focus on securing extramural funding from governmental agencies, private foundations, and industry.
- Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Medicine, with a focus on hematology and medical oncology.
- Provide clinical care to patients with solid tumors, hematological malignancies, or non-malignant hematology disorders, as appropriate for your background and experience.
- Participate in departmental and institutional initiatives, including research oversight and leadership roles.
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Established record of independent funding, high-impact publications, and a strong national/international reputation
