About the Role

This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assisting physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, preparing equipment and rooms, instructing patients, and providing routine and emergency patient care. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us achieve our goal of delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with arteriograms, catheterizations, and other cardiovascular procedures.
  • Prepare equipment, rooms, and materials for procedures.
  • Instruct patients on pre- and post-procedure care and answer questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  • Monitor patients' ECGs, pressures, temperatures, and impedances while in the electrophysiology lab, notifying physicians of any variances.
  • Help run RF/Cryo ablation systems, 3D mapping, and record procedural documentation.
  • Manage and maintain images, including stenosis testing, formatting, and processing for cardiac and peripheral cases.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (2 years of cardiovascular lab experience).
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R, and RCIS or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining patient safety.
